5th. and 7th. graders at St. Theresa School were fully engaged in a lecture and discussion lead by Ronald Mugabi and Daniel Muelshigi, board chairman of Aim for the Restoration of Hope, a charity caring for orphans from the AIDS epidemic in Uganda. For over an hour, these children listened the plight about the orphans of East Africa, admired the natural treasures of the country, and developed an awareness and sense of individual responsibility as faith-followers of God, future active members of society and future leaders of society that they need to follow on the footsteps of Christ by taking an active stand to care for their unpriviledged brothers and sisters in far corners of the world such as the African continent. At their tender age, they are already thinking about pursuing a life of services, volunteerism and even working in Uganda to make this world a better place... That is the St. Theresa legacy that is not restrained by grades and accolades, but by educating future citizens of the world. All of us, Ronald, Daniel, Mrs. Corey and myself were in tears at the end of the event. Way to go kids!!!!!

A project that may happen and God knows we have worked so hard to get it. The ultimate decision lies in who the client wants and can relate to achieve their goals. I believe that the EscArc, IBE and JAMA team are the best who can fulfill their aspirations in a timely, poetic and within budget. Here is a glimpse of what we are thinking about it.

The City Council unanimously over rulled the Airport Commission findings about Desert Son-Shine and we are within a week of getting a building permit, and perhaps, two weeks for construction. Congratulations to everyone who participated in the project. JAMA, PME Group, MSA Consulting and Peter Blackburn.

St. Theresa School is a great client and member of our community, we would like to take this opportunity to display two of the projects we are working for them. Palm Springs is fortunate to have such a prestigious Catholic school where all the children thrive and succeed under the leadership of great teachers, principal and faith.

One of the tenets of our office is that percentage of our fees goes to help Aim for the Restoration of Hope, a charity in Uganda, East Africa, which cares for orphans of the AIDS epidemic by providing housing, education, medical care and food, as well as parental love and faith in God, so the children, are also our children. We invite you to help in any way you can. Mother Theresa said, "The less we have, the more we give, that is the absurdity of love"
