A light weight structure inspired by the poem "Como un Olmo Viejo" (Like the Old Elm) written by the spanish poet Antoino Machado (1911), in which he describes the importance of looking forward to the imminent arrival of spring after a long winer. The team used the author's symbol of spring as a point of departure to design and build a full-scale shelter prototype comprised of a colors attempt to capture the exuberance of the desert landscape after the first spring rain.
